Every Wednesday all year long, Stumpy’s supports its community partners by donating a percentage of all sales for one full day to a particular Granbury club, team, or organization through our “Chow Down for Charity” events. Not only will we let visitors know all day that we have the best tacos in Granbury, Texas, but it’s also been made official: Stumpy’s Lakeside Grill was again named “Best Taco” in the 2024 Hood County News “Best Of…” contest. 

Tuesdays are “Taco Tuesday” at Stumpy’s. Stop in anytime on Tuesday for $3.66 tacos.

We strongly support Folds of Honor as an organization that provides educational scholarships for the families of veterans and first responders who were disabled or killed in the line of duty. We have several “Chow Down for Charity” Wednesdays for Folds of Honor through the year, but also add Saturdays on patriotic holiday weekends. 

On Saturday, July 4, Saturday, May 23, and Saturday, September 5, we donate 10 percent of all Stumpy’s proceeds during the day to Folds of Honor.

Valor Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides support for veterans and first responders who experienced physical or mental traumas in their line of duty. Valor Initiative brings them to Stumpy’s and Lake Granbury Marina for an awesome day of watersports, and we feed a crew of hungry veterans. We’re glad to welcome them back on Thursday, September 10, 2026 for wakeboarding and wakesurfing all day long.
